JD Bockelman grew up in Thornton Colorado and loved motocross riding and racing from an early age. Nothing was more fun and exhilarating than racing around his favorite track whether practicing or competing. He participated in many RMXA sanctioned events over the years, until a serious injury ended his Motocross career.

JD knew his racing days were over, but his love for the track, and for Amateur racing in general, brought him back as a pit crew member for his young cousin Kenny who was new to the racing scene.

Many hours spent at the track as an observer instead of a participant gave JD the opportunity to view the Amateur racing scene in a whole different way. He wanted to be able to spot his cousin in the crowd of racers more easily, and decided to create a custom jersey for him. Using durable, high quality vinyl with bright colors, the jersey made following Kenny around the track much easier. Soon JD expanded this to include custom graphics for not only jerseys, but also for helmets, sweatshirt, pants. trucks, & trailers.

In 2010, OffTrack Designs, LLC was created. We now offer a variety of products to suit racing and local business needs such as: Team shirts, business shirts, custom stickers, truck and trailer graphics, and race car numbers.

Off Track Designs is a huge supporter of the amateur motocross racing series throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. As such, we have become a Gold Sponsor of the Rocky Mountain Motocross Association, and built a Mobile Graphics Lab to take to each RMXA event to provide same day service supplying custom jerseys and graphics to racers and their supporters.
